Tom Brady and his Facebook video director didn’t get the Hollywood ending they were hoping for.
The finale of Tom vs. Time opens with “a loaded question” from director Gotham Chopra to his star character.
“Sooo, how you doing, man?” Chopra asked Brady.
“I’m feeling… that’s a loaded question,” Brady said.
Episode 6 debuts on Monday, March 12 and will focus on Brady handled the emotional Super Bowl LII loss to the Eagles in Minneapolis and the lessons his three children gained from the 41-33 defeat on Feb. 4.
“In the end, the Patriots fan in me didn’t get the storybook ending I desperately craved for our series Tom vs. Time. But instead I got a moment in which our main hero – Tom – would learn something pretty valuable in the loss. Hard to lament too much about that,” director Gotham Chopra said.
In a preview clip from the sixth and final episode of the “Tom vs. Time” docudrama released to ABC’s “Good Morning America,” Brady said, “That was the first time that I’d seen my kids really react in that way. You know, Benny was crying, Vivi was crying and they were sad for me and sad for the Patriots.
“But I just said to them, ‘Look, you guys, this is a great lesson. We don’t always win. We try our best and sometimes it doesn’t go the way we want.'”
The finale will focus on how the Patriots star quarterback handled the heartbreaking Super Bowl LII loss.
Brady will also appear Monday on Good Morning America to promote the finale.
