Another big moment comes on the day after Super Bowl LII when the equipment truck leaves for Fort Myers, as fans turn their focus from the Patriots to the Red Sox. The truck makes its annual 1,400-mile trek south on Feb. 5.

The Red Sox 2018 Spring Training season begins February 14 at JetBlue Park at Fenway South in Lee County, FL, when pitchers and catchers are scheduled to hold their first workout. The first full squad workout is set for Monday, February 19.

The Red Sox will open the regular season in Tampa Bay on Thursday, March 29. The Fenway Park opener is scheduled for Thursday, April 5.
