Well, at least four Bengals made it to the Super Bowl.
Still, small consolation for Joe Burrow, Joe Flacco, Ja’Marr Chase and Tee Higgins and the fanbase of WhoDey Nation.
On Sunday, the Pro Bowl roster for Tuesday’s exhibition at the Moscone Center welcomed Burrow as the fourth and final Bengal to make it. (DJ Turner wasn’t selected on the AFC defensive roster, though he was a third-alternate).
This marks the third career Pro Bowl selection for Burrow, who previously earned the honor for the 2022 and ’24 seasons.
This is the fourth year of the Pro Bowl Games, after the NFL did away with tackling following the game in Feb. 2022. The games consist of:
In his sixth year out of LSU, Burrow started eight games and completed 173 of 259 passes for 1809 yards and 17 TDs with five INTs, good for a passer rating of 100.7. He returned to action in Week 13 after missing the previous nine contests due to a toe injury, and over the final six weeks of the regular season he led the NFL in completions (152), tied for second in TD passes (15), ranked third in passing yards (1620), fifth in completion percentage (68.2) and fifth in passer rating (102.2).
Burrow is the fourth Bengals player selected to the Pro Bowl for the 2025 season, joining WR Ja’Marr Chase, QB Joe Flacco and WR Tee Higgins. He also becomes the fourth Cincinnati QB to receive at least three Pro Bowl honors during his Bengals career, joining Ken Anderson (four selections), Andy Dalton (three) and Boomer Esiason (three).
Flacco was chosen for his play with the Bengals after an Oct. 7 trade brought him to Cincinnati to replace Jake Browning as Burrow’s back-up when Burrow went down in Week 2 with a turf toe injury that put him out of action for nine games. While Flacco was just 1-5 in his six starts, his numbers were impressive, including prolific performances against the Jets and Bears, a pair of games where the defense collapsed and blew the games late.
Between the Browns and Bengals, Flacco played in 13 total games in his 18th season, with 10 starts, completing 251 of 416 passes for 2479 yards and 15 TDs with 10 interceptions. He started the first four games of the season for Cleveland.
From his first Bengals start in Week 6 through his final start in Week 12, Flacco ranked second in the NFL in completions (154), tied for third in TD passes (13) and fifth in passing yards (1636). That stretch included a career-high 470 passing yards in Week 9 vs. Chicago, and a 342-yard, three-TD performance in the team’s Week 7 win over Pittsburgh.
Flacco becomes the seventh QB in Bengals history to be named a Pro Bowler, joining Burrow, Andy Dalton, Carson Palmer, Jeff Blake, Boomer Esiason and Ken Anderson.
Chase, who entered the NFL as a first-round draft pick of the Bengals in 2021, has been named a Pro Bowler in each of his first five seasons. He joins former WR A.J. Green (2011-15) as the only players in Bengals history to be selected to the Pro Bowl in each of their first five years in the league. Chase additionally was voted as a starter at wide receiver for the second consecutive season.
A year after his historic receiving triple crown, Chase ranked second in the NFL this past season in receptions (110) and fourth in receiving yards (1256), while also recording five receiving TDs. He has totaled 100 or more receiving yards in seven games, the most in a single season in Bengals history. He recently became the fifth player in NFL history to reach the 1000-yard receiving mark in each of his first five seasons.
Chase is the sixth player in team history with at least five Pro Bowl selections in his Bengals career, joining OT Anthony Munoz (11 selections), DT Geno Atkins (eight), Green (seven), WR Chad Johnson (six) and CB Lemar Parrish (six).

A sixth-year player in 2025 out of Clemson, Higgins caught 59 passes for 846 yards and a career-high 11 touchdowns in 15 games played (14 starts). His 11 receiving TDs led all AFC players and tied for second in the NFL. He compiled a career-long streak of four consecutive games with at least one TD catch from Week 7 through Week 11.
Higgins, who was a second alternate, becomes the 10th receiver in Bengals history to be named a Pro Bowler, joining Chip Myers, Issac Curtis, Cris Collinsworth, Carl Pickens, Eddie Brown, Chad Johnson, T.J. Houshmandzadeh, A.J. Green and Ja’Marr Chase. The last time the Bengals had two receivers named to the Pro Bowl in the same season was 2007, when T.J. Houshmandzadeh and Chad Johnson were selected. Higgins, who originally was listed as a second alternate on December’s Pro Bowl roster, replaces Baltimore WR Zay Flowers.
The 2026 Pro Bowl Games take place at the Moscone Center in San Francisco, Calif., and will be televised live on ESPN at 8 p.m. ET.
