The Bengals have tweaked their coaching staff heading into the 2026 season and the NFL Combine in Indianapolis at the end of the month.

The team finalized their coaching staff for the 2026 season with the hiring of Davis Koetter as assistant wide receivers coach. Koetter comes to Cincinnati from the University of South Carolina, where he spent the 2025 season as assistant quarterbacks coach. He previously spent two seasons on the coaching staff at the University of Texas, serving as a graduate assistant with a focus on QBs (2023) and an offensive analyst with a focus on tight ends (’24).

Koetter played WR during his college career at Portland State University (2018-19) and Boise State University (’21-22). He graduated from Portland State in 2020 with a bachelor’s degree in psychology, then received his master’s degree in athletic leadership from Boise State in ’22.

The Bengals additionally have updated the titles for four members of their current coaching staff. James Casey, who has served as the team’s tight ends coach since Zac Taylor’s first year in 2019, will have the additional title of run game coordinator, taking over that position from current defensive line coach Jerry Montgomery.

Jordan Salkin, who served as assistant WRs coach in 2025, now moves to assistant QBs coach, replacing the departed Fredi Knighten. Ronnie Regula has been promoted to assistant linebackers coach after previously serving as defensive assistant, while Mike Moon has been promoted to assistant defensive line coach after also previously serving as defensive assistant.

The full 2026 Bengals staff is as follows:

HEAD COACH:
Zac Taylor
